Robot Salt and Pepper Shaker

Awwww, how sweet is this little guy? Or perhaps I should call the Robot Salt & Pepper Shaker savory, since it spices up your dishes with its hidden stashes of salt and pepper goodness. Hand-painted and glazed to geeky perfection, the robot’s head and body are actually separate containers, attached with a magnet. How cool is that? The salt shakes out from the head and the pepper from the body – or if you’re like me, you’ll fill up both sides with sugar and proceed to pour it liberally into your coffee every morning. What can I say? It takes a lot of reinforcements if you want to be as sweet as I am. ^_^

Toothpick Holder Voodoo Doll

My boyfriend and I do this thing we lovingly call “voodoo’ing each-other”, wherein if one of us gets ill or hurts a body part, invariably the other follows suit shortly after. Adorable or macabre? You decide! But as I like to say, the couple who injures together stays together! (Your mileage may vary …) But if you like the idea of some sweet voodoo’in without the pain and stuff, check out the Ouch! Toothpick Holder Man by Fred. It holds about 37 toothpicks and is perfect for either a cheeky kitchen accessory, or maybe as a gift for that friend of yours whose heart was just broken. Hey, why not? It’s not like you can be held legally responsible for any toothpick related injuries sustained by other parties! (We hope.)

I found this mathically delicious Pi Pie Dish a few days after writing my March 14th pi day gifts post, and I couldn’t resist sneakin’ it in! The play on words is fantastic, of course, but many chefs and home cooks have a healthy appreciation for teh mathematics (quick – how many ounces are in a cup?) and the pi pie pan would make a great gift. See? You can have your pi and eat it too!

This is one of the raddest ideas I’ve seen for making candles truly bitchin’. Oh sure, they work wonders for setting the mood for some smexy love-makin’ (cue the Barry White here) or for a relaxing, “Lifetime Movie” inspired bathing experience. But you can love your candles and indulge in a wicked sense of humor with these awesome candle shadow casters from Evolution Laser Works.

Outside of being a really fun way to spice up your walls during the Halloween season, these candle shadow projectors are just plain fun! And the laser cut Mahogany is decorative on its own as well – no flames required. But if you’ve got a romantic flame, there’s nothing like the threat of a zombie attack to spark some terrified cuddling. Mmmmmm, BRAINS!

If Joss Whedon ever had a wild hare to write the story of my childhood, calling it Scarlett the Goldfish Slayer might be apropos. Despite my best intentions, my skill at unintentionally killing off my fishy friends was legendary – though I suspect that I just had a knack for ending up with the suicidal ones (emo little bastards!) So I love the idea of having an tank of wiggly, squiggly, and completely synthetic water beasts. Behold, the Jellyfish Mood Light Aquarium!

With 6 color-changing LED lights and “realistic swimming movement”, this unique mood lamp is kinda sexy in a kitschy sort of way. And why not? Those jellyfish do bear a certain resemblance to another squirming organism I can think of …
