Read my lips … Then rock my world!

Do you ever wish you had an uncanny intuition for knowing when your girlfriend wants some sweet lovin’? (I know, I know – we should just tell you when we’re horny. But that would ruin the fun!) Well thanks to temperature sensitivity and a little sumthin’ sumthin’ called SCIENCE, you’ll be able to literally read your honey’s lips and know when she’s in the mood.

The Mood Swing Emotionally Activated Lip Gloss by Too Faced starts out clear and slowly changes to a come-hither crimson as the wearer becomes more, ahem, “amorous”. But how does it work? Does each tube come with a pocket-sized version of Sue Johanson, that hilariously saucy old lady who hosts the Talk Sex With Sue show? Well, not quite. Chalk it up to some heat-activated ingredients mixed with the magic of body chemistry. Unfortunately this means that it’s probably wildly inaccurate (you’d likely always appear to be turned on after a work out or on a hot summer’s day) – but the sheer idea of mood swing, color changing lip gloss is so ’80s that it’s almost awesome in a retro way. And it really does give “lip service” a whole new meaning. Rawr!

Oh cool. I actually ordered this last week, I'll let you know about the reactions and whatnots (I'm a bit of a Makeup lover because I love the Dramatic and artsy nature of it all…Though my points in this region go down since I'm not one of those people who have to wear makeup to go out or appear in front of a camera…)

Phew that's a bit spendy for a tube of lip gloss ain't it?

Edit: apparently some days I'm a little more southern that others.

Oh I can't wait to hear what the fuss is all about! I'm sure it disappoints on pretty much every level. ;-)

Definitely – although the way they marketed it was genius!

Actually it's quite cheap for a Specialist Makeup Brand. A Lipgloss from MAC can put you back 22-28 dollars.
No wait. That's Australian Prices… Mac's lipglosses tend to be 18, SO it's actually rather Average. Unfortunately part of the priceup is due to the brand and the pretty of the packaging.
But they are quality for what you pay. All of my Lipglosses that are uber pretty that don't clump or are too sticky are all Specialist kinds like Mac, Napoleon Purdis (AU Brand) and OCCmakeup. (Though OCCmakeup's got a special lip product called Liptar that works like Paint so that you can mix colours together to make new colours, Its really awesome)

I'm not so sure about how apparent the colour changing is, But considering I got the Lavender/Bright Purple one, I'm not going to be diappointed even if it turns out not to do crazy reactions.

Oh yeah, I've been meaning to get back to you about this. It's actually really good lipgloss, It's my go-to lip colour at the moment, It doesn't continually shift colour like it's “described to” But I've never gotten the same colour from wearing it and it's always felt and looked appropiate (And awesomely bright when I've wanted it to) It's… Weird but awesome. I did a reveiw on my blog/youtube if you really want to check it out further. but yeah. Hope to see more Geek Gems soon!

Actually? Months later? This is probably my favourite lip product. I always get a beautiful pinky red that's never the same colour.

And Science tastes like STRAWBERRIES. Yummy! *licks lips*

does it come with all 3 colors or just one?
